Greetings all! This is a special Halloween Podcast with our good friend and local comedian Chip Chantry. The three of us chose serial killers from the US. Lank went with Richard Trenton Chase. I went with Robert Hansen and Chip went with the ultimate serial killer- H.H. Holmes. HH Holmes was Americas first serial killer back in 1893. Just in time for the Chicago's World Fair. A handsome, charming and rich fella, HH created an entire block dubbed "Murder Castle" by investigators. You checked in, but never checked out, well at least whole. Sit back and laugh with us as we make some jokes. For some reason we decided that people in the 1890's spoke like 1930's see. See links below for all our killers. Richard Trenton Chase (May 23, 1950 – December 26, 1980) was an American serial killer who killed six people in a span of a month in Villa Park, California. He was nicknamed "The Vampire of Sacramento" because he drank his victims' blood and cannibalized their remains. Robert Christian Hansen (February 15, 1939 – August 21, 2014), known in the media as the "Butcher Baker" was an American serial killer. Between 1971 and 1983, Hansen abducted, raped and murdered at least 17, and possibly more than 30 women, in and around Anchorage, Alaska, hunting them down in the woods with a Ruger Mini-14 and other weapons. He was arrested and convicted in 1983 and was sentenced to 461 years (plus a life sentence) with no possibility of parole Herman Webster Mudgett (May 16, 1861 – May 7, 1896), better known under the name of Dr. Henry Howard Holmes or more commonly just H. H. Holmes, was one of the first documented serial killers in the modern sense of the term.In Chicago, at the time of the 1893 World's Columbian Exposition, Holmes opened a hotel which he had designed and built for himself specifically with murder in mind, and which was the location of many of his murders. While he confessed to 27 murders, of which nine were confirmed, his actual body count could be over 200. He brought an unknown number of his victims to his World's Fair Hotel, located about 3 miles (4.8 km) west of the fair, which was held in Jackson Park. Besides being a serial killer, H. H. Holmes was also a successful con artist and a bigamist. Thank you for the support. COMING SOON TO PODBEAN.COM: http://wakethefup.podbean.com VISIT: Chipchantry.com
