Podcast Interview Questions
Can you tell us a little bit more about yourself, and explain to people what a digital nomad is?

Law School taught me how to handle pressure, tackle massive amounts of information and mostly, how to use words as a tool.
Look for that special thread that goes through their career path - what attracted them to study something or work somewhere.
Started out in content marketing and with the years and different positions broadened the scope into PR, inbound marketing, digital, social and events.
My definition of a digital nomad is anyone who has a laptop and can work remotely using Google Docs, Slack, Skype, Whatsapp to overcome the time and geographic distance.

Many people say PR is dead, what do you tell these people and how do you advice startup looking to try PR as a marketing channel to d
I disagree - it is important to still use it so that journalists see the news about the start-up or company.
A good story and relevant news is critical.
Wrap it up in a creative and compelling way.
Any tips on anyone wanting to get some PR for there company?
Take the time to craft a good story for your start-up. Why was it established? How will it make the target audience’s life easier? What pain point are you solving? What are you a must have, and not just a nice ot have?
Figure out what is newsworthy about your message? When you can answer that, write a clear and catchy message and start pitching to journalists.
Use PR in the broader way and pitch articles to media outlets and journalists.
Apply for awards
Use social media to spread the word about the awards, podcasts, webinars, and articles you’ve published.
Can you share your framework for content marketing?
Content is the fuel for the marketing machine - it includes the mandatory content like a website and marketing materials like a pitch or sales deck, brochure, etc.
The fun part - the ongoing “fuel” - the blog posts, articles to publications, and news about the company - awards, professional events, etc.
The periodic content that can also come from other mediums: videos, webinars, infographics, whitepapers.
I like to follow the inbound marketing methodology by Hubspot - a type of content depends on the position of the visitor/prospect in the marketing funnel.
Can you lastly talk to us about your marketing sucess?
Start your day reading up on your industry news - create alerts on Google and on Feedly.
Read about pop culture, news, economy - so I read a few major news outlets over my morning coffee.
Twitter and LinkedIn
My definition of success is when my clients appear in the news - when the CEO is cited in a report or article or when the company is mentioned.
When the start-up wins an award or the article is picked up by a prestigious industry publication.
When people tell me they’re heard of the start-up I know I’ve done my job right.
