First of all, you have to forgive me on this audio, I recorded this episode on the street and Fred’s voice and mine sounds far away. I did not bring any regular mike in order to avoid catching all street sounds (this was not a recording about street sounds).
On this episode, that I upload today (two days before Saturday) is very important to me since it is one of those festivals that takes place close to our new home. If you happened to follow me on all social media, you might have noticed that I have been promoting Takoma Park Folk Festival, a music event that will take place this September 8, 2019 at Takoma Park, Maryland. This episode was recorded at Takoma Beverage Company (thank you to Seth Cook for allowing to do this in your shop – SUPPORT LOCAL STORES, that should be our hashtag). In addition, a big thank you to Kelly Diamond, one of the guests in this episode, for inviting Kevin Adler and Fred Stollnitz to be part of this episode where we talk about TPFF, history, what would take place this Sept. 8, 2019 and how magic is done in order that this Festival could celebrate its 40th Anniversary. I want to thank all three of my guests for their time and patience during its recording and to Seth for his kindness. Without all of you this episode could not be done. I am indebted to all of you. For more information about the event, visit www.tpff.org and also, while you are at Google looking for information about TPFF, check also Kelly Diamond’s band Know1else, features songs you haven't heard about things you've already lived #ThirdWave Americana #ResistanceKaraokemusic.
