According to the Associated Press:
“President Trump announced his strategy to address ‘Iran's destructive actions’ in a statement today decertifying the Obama-era Iran deal.
Democrats and members of the President's own party, saying the President's making a mistake by decertifying the Iran nuclear agreement, according to ABC News.
House Democratic leader Nancy Pelosi says the President's going against world opinion and his own advisers with the Iran deal decision: The President is ignoring the overwhelming consensus of nuclear scientists, national security experts, generals and his own Cabinet. President Trump says Iran is not complying with the deal, but his Defense Secretary testified to Congress it is.”
The problem is Iran, like North Korea, isn't a good actor. Is anything going to come from it, who knows?
If Trump pulls the U.S out of this completely, we’ll be the only country that is no longer going along with the deal. I wish that we could get together
Are there long-term ramifications? JayMac says he’s not sure.
“I like strength,” said Jay. “For too long, we’ve not followed up with the things that I say. I’m also always asking the question to what end. If I can’t see a positive action that’s a show to strength, then I start to get concerned with that. We have North Korea and Iran who are bad actors and who are seeking nuclear weapons. Is that good or bad?”
