Our thankful thought for today is this: Sometimes life causes us to be put into situations that force us to make a decision between embracing it or complaining about it. When we complain, we find that situations do not turn out as favorably as we would like them to. In fact, sometimes, they turn out worse. But when we embrace each situation as necessary or at least as a lesson from which we can learn, we find that life has opened a door or provided an opportunity that we would not have otherwise gained or noticed.

Our quote of thanks is from C. Neil Strait. He said, "Attitudes sour in the life that is closed to thankfulness. Soon selfish attitudes take over, closing life to better things."

Our Bible verse of thanks is Psalm 100:1 (NIV). It reads, "Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth."
