This Lucille Lortel Award-winning show is celebrating its One Year Anniversary in New York on this Thursday, July 12, 2012. The Voca People are 8 "vocal acrobats" that are literally out-of-this-world, for they are space people come to Earth to recharge on our musical energy as life-force vitality fuel to return to their home planet. The live and interactive "theatrical experience" is comprised of 6 singers from Soprano to Bass and 2 Beatbox/Scratch artists that defy their audiences ears by perfectly performing over 70 hits from Mozart to Madonna to Run DMC and more, only vocals, with NO INSTRUMENTS or technical tricks, but with great humor and unique charm. The 8 extra terrestrials comically interact with the audience and each other, communicating joy, jealousy, loss and universal love all through music. Not surprising, as his father is a professional drummer and his grandfather before him played the trumpet with the Glenn Miller Orchestra. At age nine, Adam was on the road to becoming an accomplished drummer and by the age of 14 he was well sought after by local bands. At the age of 17, he picked up the guitar and was a natural. Never being interested in covering songs, the guitar became his personality to write and sing, and again he proved to be a natural. He has been on two tours with Big City Lights playing lead guitar and singing harmonies. Adam met producer/engineer Jon Castelli, who immediately recognized Adam's talents and gave him the opportunity to write and record what is now his first single release entitled "Get Up And Go". Jon's partner, producer Evan Scott Smith, came into the mix and One Love's music came to fruition and as a result a six song EP was completed. "ONE LOVE is not just a name or even an idea; ONE LOVE is a movement", Adam states. "And not just for me and my band, but for everyone". We didn't start ONE LOVE, the idea; we wanted to start ONE LOVE, the Movement". And so they did. ONE LOVE has captured the attention of many fans and he is currently in the studio moving forward to record another EP as well as performing shows throughout the Greater Metropolitan Area with his undeniably amazing band. Adam's musical influences stem mainly from the pop world. His guitar-driven pop sound, coupled with his unparalleled vocals, take on a life of their own and the unequivocal hooks propel each song into a top 40 genre.
