We are a purely student led radio station here to provide a real life radio experience to all students at the University of Portsmouth. We aim to provide a free open media outlet for student's opinions to be heard and offer a real range of skills at the same time. It's target audience is for the members of the university community, but can be heard anywhere in the UK via the internet, mobile apps, and dab wifi. Pure FM caters for all types of shows which it encourages and supports.
Total Hits is a new radio station aimed at young people in the UK aged 15 to 30. We aim to become the voice of young people in UK and play a music mix that comprises of chart, dance hip hop, R&B and pop with an emphasis on new music as well as some music from local unsigned bands.
PYR, as we also like to be known, is a radio station that is dedicated to giving the young members of our community the chance to get involved with an online radio station.We invite local people to become a member* of our station, where they will have the opportunity to indulge their interest in music and broadcasting.Why not shadow one of our presenters or create your own playlist?
