We hear from: Alex Sikorsky, who would have been severely hit by the tax changes on his London portfolio if he hadn’t taken action. He’s now switched to investing in Scotland with a completely different strategy. Alastair Cumming, who is moving in the other direction – going further south from his home in the Scottish Highlands in search of higher capital growth and greater diversification. Simon Williams, who had some major struggles with mortgages when making his first investment in a limited company – but, undeterred, is planning to move his entire existing portfolio into a company over the coming years.
