Monday Night Football’s Booger McFarland joins us to talk NFL, including the Saints’ play caller Drew Brees going under the knife today.
“It’s not going to look like it did with Brees,” McFarland said about Teddy Bridgewater taking over as QB for the Saints. “But I do think they will be able to manufacture some points.”
Is he buying or selling Baker Mayfield? McFarland thinks he needs to learn patience and gain confidence.
“He’s still inconsistent,” McFarland said. “If you force me to pick a side, I’m buying.”
Jalen Ramsey said he wants out of the Jaguars organization. How do you handle a superstar like that?
“He can not come out and push the coach,” McFarland said. “It wouldn’t surprise me if he gets traded soon.”
T-Bob and McFarland have their weekly “”is Lamar Jackson good” conversation.
“I need to see more,” McFarland said. “I’m not going to base it off of two games against the Dolphins and the Cardinals.”

“It should have started week one,” McFarland said.
