mainly dry for the morning hours today, but some rain showers may
reach mainly areas east of the Hudson by the late afternoon and
evening thanks to a coastal low. It will be mainly dry Tuesday as
this low pulls away, but another quick moving system will bring
showers and possible thunderstorms to the area Tuesday night.
Temperatures will become cooler and more seasonable by Wednesday.

An Amsterdam-based not-for-profit organization formed two years ago to foster and support the arts has planned a host of activities and events for this year. The Foothills Arts Council has announced programs stretching through October for poetry and spoken word, acting classes and theater production, and finding artistic inspiration through collage.
