Next on The Historians Podcast: LITTLE SISTER
Patricia Walsh Chadwick's upbringing in an excommunicated Catholic commune is the subject of her memoir entitled, LITTLE SISTER. Chadwick lived in the secluded commune from her infancy in 1948 until the age of 17 when she was banished from the center, by then located in a rural area west of Boston. She was thrust into Boston in the 1960s lacking awareness of the perils and joys of the outside world.
In a two part episode of the Historians Podcast, Chadwick talks with host Bob Cudmore about her life in the commune and how she ultimately thrived in the world. She and her husband live in Connecticut today and have two grown children.
