Walking helps to slow the aging process and you can start at any age. When you're walking you're not sedentary. Walking can reduce your risk of heart disease, high blood pressure, and type 2 diabetes. Improves your mood. Improves sleep. Supports your joint health. Improves circulation. Improves your balance and coordination. Walking 30 minutes a day per research helps to reduce the risk of coronary heart disease, enhance mental well-being, improve lipid blood profile, reduce the risk of osteoporosis, maintain body weight, trim your waistline, lower risk of obesity, and reduce the risk of breast cancer and colon cancer. What more do you need to know? Simplify your health one step at a time. The only thing getting in your way to optimum health is you and your excuses (i.e., not enough time, the weather is bad, too many things to do, already working out, etc.).
