Description: Today’s episode is a deep dive into the Silhouettes and Spheres of SheFactor, the main components to help you find yourself and achieve your goals. Tori describes the characteristics of each Silhouette and a detailed breakdown of the Spheres and how we can use this to set and achieve our goals each week.
Key Takeaways:
[1:05] - There a couple of different aspects of the brand that come together: the book, the app, Squads, and fun content in the podcast and on the blog. The book acts as a road map, and the app is the key to you creating the life you love.
[2:05] - The Silhouettes are archetypes that give something women identify with on their journey. The Silhouettes also help you relate to those around you. The quiz will identify one of seven unique Silhouettes:
[3:00] - Conqueror - The conqueror loves to create, and enforce challenges, rules, and plans. Some key traits of conquerors are determined, organized, and protective. They are fearless and have street smarts that others lack.
[3:48] - Queen - The queen is a natural-born leader, no matter what their role is. Queens know how to delegate and lead people to action. They are charismatic and take charge of the situations around them.
[4:43] - Director - The director is spontaneous, innovative, and artistic. Directors love to create, whatever the medium is. They desire to be appreciated for their work; sometimes they leave unfinished projects in their wake, but their creative energy is harnessed when they get the job done.
[5:43] - Storytellers - The storyteller is a great communicator, often a natural-born performer. Storytellers are expressive, charming, and intuitive. They can be very persuasive, and perhaps a bit dramatic, but use their voice to speak out on key issues.
[6:40] - Guardian - The guardian is Tori’s personal Silhouette. Guardians are caring and devoted to others. They often like to work behind the scenes, but still want their work to be appreciated by those around them.
[7:40] - Dreamer - This is our founder Heidi’s Silhouette. Dreamers are inspirational and challenge others to be the best they can be. They have big ideas and a natural ability to connect with people.
[8:45] - Explorer - The explorer loves gathering information, knowledge, and experimenting. They enjoy sharing knowledge with others and tend to be more reserved than other Silhouettes.
[9:50] - Masking is when you’ve been raised to believe you’re a certain way, but your true self is something different. We are all guilty of pretending that we’re interested in certain people or things, or crafting a persona we want others to see. SheFactor focuses on becoming our authentic selves.
[11:55] - There are nine spheres that we use to prioritize what is most important or what needs the most attention in our lives. They are a tool to prioritize a holistic balance to your life. Tori talks about how each sphere plays into our lives and goals:
[12:27] - Folk is about relationships with the people we interact with every day. The recurring theme of choice starts with folk. We can decide what we want our relationships with others to look like. Genuinity and energy are the keys to healthy and fulfilling relationships. The people we hold close in life should build us up no matter what.
[14:30] - Flame focuses on how our significant other plays into our lives. A significant other should be a bright light in our lives, and we have the power to choose in romantic relationships, as well as other factors, in our lives. We need to be intentional about finding someone who cares and supports us in everything we do.
[16:35] - Faith is getting grounded in something bigger than ourselves. It encourages stillness and quietness to find a connection with ourselves or a higher being. A genuine, personal connection can be the difference between isolation and connectedness.
[17:40] - Freedom is about staying engaged and connected to our friends and neighbors. It is about learning and connecting with those who have different points of view than our own.
[18:33] - Favor is our sense of worth and connectedness. It is about sharing our time, treasure, and talent. Giving back to others makes a deposit in our own soul.
[19:47] - Finance is important because when we have a good relationship with money, we can afford the live we want. We have to be intentional about how we’re spending, so we’re always in control. Money touches all areas of our life.
[20:50] - Fashion is one of the best ways of expressing ourselves, showing people who we are and where we’re going. Our fashion choices should bring out who we are on the inside. Fashion is a tool we can use to show the world who we are every day.
[23:12] - Fuel is a major priority in many women’s lives. Our relationship with food and fitness is super important, and hard to tackle until we understand other aspects of ourselves. Once we’re confident in other factors of our lives, taking care of ourselves is a lot easier.
[25:08] - Future is the last and most daunting sphere. Everything we talked about before leads and contributes to our future. The choices we make right now early on in life have an exponential impact on our path in life. Future is about accumulation and allowing yourself to dream big dreams.
[26:45] - Once you know your Silhouette and have prioritized your sphere, it’s time to set your goals. The app helps you self-score yourself each week of how well you followed your goals each week. Squads provide inspiration and motivation for helping us achieve our goals.
