We deliver an interview with Daniel J Lewis., the podcaster and founder of the NoodleMix Network at www.noodle.mx, as well as The Audacity to Podcast show, along with other podcasts. During this interview, we discuss the VALUE to podcasters that is delivered by PODCASTERS’ SOCIETY, as well as the future directions and other features available in this membersship site. As you will hear in this audio episode, this membership site that was announced and open since August, 2015, actually had its beginnings in 2014, when Daniel J Lewis wanted to deliver value to the podcasters who wanted to IMPROVE or ENHANCE their podcast by taking the level from just “average to AMAZING”. This idea sprung from the value delivered from a previous course that Daniel created and taught earlier called Podcast Master Class. In addition, Daniel shares with us how his early objectives are being met, as well as his monetization strategies with this program — especially with all the features, forum, conversations and community aspects of the Podcasters’ Society Experience. One feature to note for all podcasters is that a monthly guest will be spotlighted in a live webinar (with replay available for 36 hours after). This webinar will be open for the 2 days to everyone (but after that, it will only be available for replay to the members of Podcasters’ Society). Daniel J. Lewis, creator of the Podcasters’ Society Program As an Entrepreneur, Daniel has gone from a web designer and graphic designer to full-time podcaster, to a podcast-network-manager, and now to creating a “COLLABORATION MENTORSHIP” (that is the descriptive phrase that I coined for this membership site after I had joined it in late August) — of course, with Daniel J Lewis as the key “mentor.” Some final differentiators of this site from most of the other membership sites in podcasting are: (1) The Program does NOT focus on teaching others HOW TO PODCAST — that is, there is no mention of what hardware, software, plug-ins and other resources to acquire and how to use them to plan, produce, launch and promote a new podcast show. In fact, Daniel vets his potential members by requiring them to have a podcast already launched and available in iTunes. Clearly, this program is not for aspiring podcasters, but for those who have some experience in podcasting already. (2) Daniel’s program does not focus on Monetization of a podcast show. The road to making money with a podcast is an additional path that can be taken, but this site focuses on helping those who want to create a better podcast show, even if they are non-profit, or public service, or public sector or even HOBBY PODCASTERS. In other words, monetization is fine, but the program does not obsess over making money with podcasting — although discussions are welcome and community conversations are active in the member site forum. Instead, the real focus of the program rotates around what Daniel considers the 4 Cornerstones of Podcasting — and he mentions and describes them in the audio episode.
